At the age of 86 from complications caused by pneumonia, died a canadian actress Shirley Douglas.

Douglas best known for playing Mrs. Starch in “lolita,” Stanley Kubrick and the film “Mesmer”, “dead ringers,” etc.

On the death of the actress said on Twitter her son from her marriage with Donald Sutherland actor Kiefer Sutherland.

“This morning my mother Shirley Douglas left this world due to complications of pneumonia (non-Covid-19). My mom was an amazing woman who lived an incredible life. Unfortunately, she has long struggled with disease, and we, her family, knew that this day would come. I Express my condolences to all those who have suddenly lost loved ones due to the coronavirus, it breaks my heart. Take care of yourself”, – is spoken in the message.
