Emma was the second child born to Hyrum and Vera Meservy. An older sister Gail and younger brothers Dell and Vonny completed the family. Emma learned her love of growing plants and cooking at an early age on the family farm in Dietrich. Hard work is something she always appreciated. Together, Emma and Harvey started Harvey’s Office Plus in 1980. It continues as a family business.

Throughout Emma’s life she was involved in many leadership positions in both Church and community. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and after retirement served a Mission with Harvey in Atlanta, GA. Emma loved the Gospel and the joy it brought to her life. She loved teaching those around her and could turn any situation into a life lesson.

Many of Emma’s Joys while on this earth included time with her family, pleasure in her yard and garden, planning, hosting, cooking and decorating for parties and events. Emma was famous for her dinner rolls and potato salad as well as chili and donuts on Halloween.
