The Two Jakes
The Two Jakes (Piège pour un Privé au Québec) est un film américain réalisé par Jack Nicholson en 1990. C'est la suite de Chinatown de Roman Polanski, où Jack Nicholson tournait avec son ex-beau-père John Huston. A Los Angeles, en 1948, le promoteur immobilier Jake Berman s'attache les services du détective privé Jake Gittes pour déterminer la fidélité de sa femme Kitty. Les deux hommes mettent un plan sur pied et surprennent Kitty en flagrant délit d'adultère mais Gittes ne s'attendait pas à ce que Berman assassine l'amant de sa femme sous ses yeux.
