Angel Kelly

Angel Kelly (née le 7 décembre 1962) est une actrice pornographique à la retraite. Avec Jeannie Pepper et Heather Hunter, Kelly a été parmi les premières femmes afro-américaines à percer dans le cinéma pornographique grand public. Elle est membre du AVN Hall of Fame.

Actrice

À 19 ans, Kelly commence à travailler dans une cabine de peep-show du Cinema X, un établissement du Michigan, où elle restera deux ans. Par la suite, elle se produit comme danseuse seins nus dans un bar et est approchée par un photographe pour poser dans des magazines pour adultes. Elle apparaît dans des magazines tels que Cheri et Players, ce qui lui vaut des propositions pour tourner dans des films pour adultes. Kelly débute sa carrière cinématographique en 1985. Durant sa période la plus active, de 1986 à 1988, elle tourne plus de 100 films originaux – dont 53 rien qu'en 1987 – mais au début des années 1990, elle apparaît dans moins de cinq films par an. Sa dernière apparition dans un film original remonte à 1991. Kelly est la première actrice afro-américaine à signer un contrat dans l'industrie du film pour adultes avec Fantasy Home Video. Le 12 janvier 2008, Kelly a été intronisée au Temple de la renommée de l'Adult Video News. Elle a également été intronisée au Temple de la renommée de XRCO le 16 avril 2009.

En 1996, Kelly et Heather Hunter sont apparues dans le clip vidéo de « How Do U Want It » de Tupac Shakur.
