Malaya

Malaya est un film de guerre américain réalisé par Richard Thorpe, sorti en 1949. En Malaisie britannique, peu après l'attaque de Pearl Harbor, des Américains cherchent à se procurer du caoutchouc. Un journaliste, avec l'aide du gouvernement americain, libere son ami emprisonne pour contrebande. Puis il organise une expedition en Malaisie, afin de rammener du caoutchouc dont manque l'Amerique en guerre. Un hollandais, tenancier de tripot va lui apporter une aide precieuse...
