Un homme a disparu (The Perfect Specimen) est un film américain réalisé par Michael Curtiz, sorti en 1937. Gerald Beresford Wicks hérite d'une petite fortune, volontairement dissimulée par sa grand-mère jusqu'à sa mort. Intriguée par le secret qui entoure cet héritage, la jeune Joan Blondell s'introduit chez lui, et les deux partent en voyage à travers la Pennsylvanie. En cours de route, les deux inconnus pourraient bien tomber amoureux ...
